Vice Chair Purvis Gray Barbara Boyd graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After working for the family business for a few years, she came back to Gainesville in 2006 for her master’s degree in Accounting and has called it home ever since. Barbara is an audit partner at Purvis Gray focusing primarily on the governmental, utility, and construction industries. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Florida Government Finance Officers Association. Barbara loves to stay active, particularly playing soccer. She is also the proud mom of four children and spends many weekends fulfilling her soccer mom responsibilities.
